Masseria Pepe is a stately mansion, recently restored respecting the style of Ionic farms. It consists of two parts: the main building and the old courts, renovated to accommodate guests. Masseria Pepe is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards mainly of Primitivo di Manduria. The farm covers about 30 hectares and produces extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, wheat flour and kamut.
Outside there are some typical stone trulli, a beautiful swimming pool, a small riding ground and a shelter for the animals of the farm (horses, donkeys, dogs and farm animals).
Masseria Pepe offers a peaceful stay close to nature and close to the sea. Here it is possible to book guided tours, wine tasting, horseback riding with the support of a qualified trainer or to rent a bike to reach the closer beautiful beaches.
Masseria Pepe has seven mansions, all entirely obtained in the rooms of the old building and equipped with a kitchenette, one or more bathrooms, private entrances, air conditioning, TV and patio.
Campomarino is a village in the municipality of Maruggio. It is characterized by beautiful beaches, including the beach of Acquadolce Cirenaica, also known as “Piri Piri”, because of a lido having the same name, the beach of the Commenda, the Wind and the Port beach, near the marina.
In Maruggio worth visiting are the Mother Church (built between the 15th and 16th century) with the crypt, in which is housed the urn of San Costanzo, and the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with the adjoining frescoed cloister.
The entire land of Maruggio is characterized by the presence of trulli, typical Apulian buildings, made of dry stone, once used by farmers as a warehouse or as a house.
From this area you can easily reach the provinces of Lecce, Taranto and Brindisi with their most famous places.
Very close there is Manduria, also known as "city of the Messapien," with its old town characterized by many baroque churches and monasteries, in addition to noble residences, including the Imperial Palace. You can also visit the Archaeological Park, walking among the ancient walls and cemeteries.
Guests can enjoy a wine tour among the many wineries in the area to be fascinated by the area's most important vine: Primitivo di Manduria.
A little further away there is Taranto, the "City of the two seas", where they are to visit especially the Aragonese Castle, the Cathedral of San Cataldo and the Romanesque church of San Domenico.
