Masseria Montanaro offers a wide range of rooms to suit all needs. Guests can choose between four large apartments with single, double or three bed rooms with bathroom, TV, hairdryer, independent heating and baby cot (on request). Each apartment is equipped with its own gazebo and a fully equipped kitchen.
In Cisternino it is possible to admire: the Tower of Porta Grande which was the main access to the town and on which stands the statue of San Nicola.
In the historic centre guests can admire the historic homes, from the Governor's Mansion, a beautiful example of Baroque in Apulia, to the sixteenth-century Palazzo Vescovile, Palazzo Amati, Palazzo Lachance, Palazzo Ricci-Capece with Torre del Vento.
Farther there is the Convent of the Capuchin monks with the Church of Sant’Antonio, the Church of San Quirico and the Mother Church of San Nicola, built in the 14th century on an early Christian Church.
On Easter Monday inhabitants go to the Sanctuary of the Madonna d’ Ibernia, archaeological site with Roman and medieval finds, bringing "u chrruchl", a cake with a propitiatory value in the shape of a purse with two hard-boiled eggs for men and shaped like a doll with an egg on the lap for women.
Moving from Cisternino guests can take excursions to the most beautiful sights of Itria Valley and Salento: Martina Franca, Alberobello, Fasano with the Safari Park and the remains of the ancient Egnatia, Castellana Grotte, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare.
